1: Event Structure
The Fortnite competition will consist of two tournaments held during the LAN event.
Tournament A – Early Event Tournament
Format: Single Elimination Battle Royale
Tournament B – Main Event Tournament
Format: Multi-match Points Tournament
Players may participate in both tournaments.
The purpose of the early tournament is to provide a quick competitive activity early in the event.
The main event tournament determines the overall Fortnite champion of the LAN.
2: Player Eligibility
Players must be registered attendees of the Uhrhøj MiniLAN event.
Players must have a valid Epic Games account.
Players must follow Fortnite Terms of Service and LAN event rules.
Tournament administrators may remove players who violate rules or disrupt the event.
3: Tournament A – Early Event Tournament
Format
Single elimination.
Players participate in Battle Royale matches.
Players eliminated in a match are eliminated from the tournament.
If more than 100 players participate, the tournament may begin with multiple qualifying matches.
Example structure
Round 1
Players split across multiple matches.
Top players from each match advance.
Round 2
Remaining players compete in a semifinal match.
Final
Top players compete in a final match to determine the winner.
Winner of the final match becomes the Early Event Champion.
4: Tournament B – Main Event Tournament
Format
Points based tournament across multiple matches.
Players will compete in several matches and earn points based on placement and eliminations.
This format rewards consistent performance rather than a single match victory.
Number of Matches
3 to 5 matches depending on time available.
All players participate in each match.
Total points across all matches determine the final standings.
5: Scoring System
Points are awarded as follows.
Victory Royale
10 points
Placement 2–5
7 points
Placement 6–10
5 points
Placement 11–20
3 points
Each elimination
1 point
Tournament administrators may adjust scoring if necessary to ensure fair play.
6: Match Settings
Game mode
Fortnite Battle Royale
Server region
All players must use the same region determined by tournament staff.
Matchmaking
Matches may be hosted using custom matchmaking keys or synchronized public matchmaking.
Maximum players per match
100 players.
If player count exceeds 100, players may be divided into multiple heats.
Top scoring players from each heat advance to the next stage or finals.
7: Match Start Procedure
Players must join the match when instructed by tournament staff.
Players must use the provided matchmaking key if applicable.
Late players may not join once a match has started.
Players experiencing technical issues must notify staff immediately.
8: Player Conduct
All participants must behave respectfully.
The following are prohibited.
Cheating or hacking
Use of exploits
Harassment or abusive language
Intentional disruption of matches
Tournament administrators may disqualify players violating these rules.
9: Equipment
Players must bring their own gaming equipment.
Players are responsible for their own Fortnite installation and account access.
Tournament staff cannot guarantee technical support for individual hardware issues.
10: Administrative Decisions
Tournament administrators have final authority over all decisions.
Administrators may modify tournament structure if necessary due to technical issues or player counts.
All decisions by tournament staff are final.
11: Prizes
Small prizes may be awarded to top players.
Prize value will remain within Epic Games community tournament guidelines.
